Season's greetings!

Lots of reading, lots of eating and lots of knitting... these are "a few of my favourite things" during this holiday. And I plan to continue.
I haven't been able to forget all about work but quite well anyways. This new adventure of mine is ( to tell u the truth) SCARY but still the only way to go on in my "career". So that's all about it.
The pressies I tried to finish before xmas were almost in time. Only dad's vest is still an ufo but I'm working on it. A's mittens and H's socks were ready in time :)
So far holiday knits consist of 2,5 baby girl socks (seiska, old rose colour) and A SKIRT (isoveli colour).
Oh, I'm so happy there's still over a week to go before the reality bites me. But when that time comes - I'll be ready for sure!

I'm still alive (aka knitting)

This time of year is always the busiest time of year for me. I love making presents and this year I think I'm doing pretty well. I've finished the 1st sock for H and find good instructions for A's riding mittens. I know I won't finish daddy's vest in time but maybe it'll be ready for the New Year...
I've also "crafted" in other ways, too. I've promised myself not to use any paper for wrapping the presents so I've been sewing little/bigger bags. I've pretty happy about them.
The thing I'm really proud of is the dress I made in a course last week. I love the person dearly and I hope the feeling can be sensed from it.

Issues

I bought the latest issue of Novita magazine today and was cheered up by it. Many new projects to do :).
Another issue is lack of time. I really don't want to make it a problem but I'd like to do more than I can. Luckily a timetable free weekend is ahead of me...
I made some purchase today: black boots, a hairdo (RED), reclector yarn (20m) and 30 cm reflector fabric (100€/m).
Hopefully an efficient office day ahead of me tomorrow I'll put myself to sleep now.

To do-list

I really should think what I'm going to knit for Christmas and start it now. I've got two god daughters and like knitting for them. I think I could knit riding mittens for A and socks for H. I haven't finished my dad's vest yet. That's really all I've got time for.
Ok, I promise myself I can crochet those reflectors, too.
But that's all, OK? U know some of us have job to do and family to take care of.

10 meters of reflecting yarn...

...is enough for 6 crocheted flowers. Background is crocheted, too. Done those already - need to get more of tht reflecting yarn tomorrow!

Time flies, eh?

I've been knitting... in the car, when visiting in-laws, when watching telly. Noro "thingie" is ready and I've used it, too. Crocheted some reflectors. Even sold a few...
These recent weeks have just been so hectic at work. I've worked even during weekends. But as I say "I've invented my problems myself" so I do not complain more.
Tell u more when there's something to say.

Thanks for the weekend!

This seems to be easy... blogging I mean. Let's see if this is my thing or not :)

Noro aint ready yet

Still knitting the collar of short sleeved sweater Noro (Sock Yarn). Still pondering if it's goodor not...
What I'd really like to knit is a really long cardican - black, very basic with a belt... dream on...
